The UK M&A market is currently like chalk and cheese – on the one hand mid-market deal volume and values are as strong as they have ever been in the decade prior to the pandemic, whilst on the other hand large market deals have suffered a huge blow. We don’t remember such a disparity in market segments in the 30 years we have been in business.
