Entrepreneurs for freedom
We are all shocked by Russia’s invasion of democratic Ukraine; the relentless slaughter of innocent civilians is evil. At its core, the threat is directed against our freedom and the foundations of our world order. This is underpinned, now for the second time, by Putin’s threat of nuclear weapons against anyone who supports Ukraine.
Under normal circumstances, we as a firm do not comment on politics and we do not call for a boycott for or against anyone. However we are convinced that the situation is different today, as we are challenged by a fundamental attack on everything we stand for. It is about our freedom as entrepreneurs and citizens of this country that is not negotiable, and there is no cost-benefit calculation and no break-even point. It’s all about the big picture for us.
The decision is now digital, no room for grey areas. We stand for freedom, we stand against the aggressor and firmly against Putin.
We love Russia and the Russian people, but in this situation, we simply cannot do business with its companies and citizens, as long as this attack and threat continues.
Corbett Keeling will cease all business activities with citizens of the RFSR and companies of the RFSR, regardless of the sanctions lists in place. We cannot do business with people whose government threatens our existence.
Ukraine is not only defending its freedom, but also ours. Everyone must now decide for themselves what contribution they can make as citizens and entrepreneurs. We will gladly refrain from doing business with the aggressor and will do everything we can to support Ukraine and especially our colleagues at Capital Times, our Globalscope partner, who are fighting for their lives and our freedom at the moment.
