The tide hasn’t turned yet for deal making and, over the first three months of 2022, the momentum set by last year has remained strong. Whilst there has been some tightening of debt markets, particularly for the very largest deals, we are still seeing interest from buyers with plenty of cash to put to use. Even though the impact of the war in Ukraine and inflation loom large, suggesting the market may turn, currently on the ground we are still seeing strong appetite for acquisitions.
