Having qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte, John has worked in corporate finance for over 30 years. He was a corporate finance Director at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson where he had particular exposure to advising small and medium sized quoted companies.

John has built up strong expertise in the consumer sector and has been a Non-Executive Director of a number of consumer and retailing companies, including The Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group, a leading clothing retailer, Hawksmoor, the steak restaurant chain, JD Wetherspoon plc, the listed managed pub operator, and EAT, the private equity backed sandwich retailer. John has advised Corbett Keeling's consumer sector clients for many years.
